My flying buddy Asri decided to visit Bukit Dangdut for a few flights before Ramadhan starts, I was contemplating but since he travelled all the way from Perlis I figured that it wouldn’t be nice not to meet, at least even just for a while. I wasn’t sure who else will be there but the crowd turned out quite a number with a few guys from Singapore too.
The wind was surprisingly good, steady headwind at about 4knots and we were climbing to 700-800ft easily though sometimes it got a little bumpy at the west end. My ankle was still aching, sprayed the painkiller and limping my way out during launching off the TO. I started soaring the hill at an average height of 650ft for 40 minutes before deciding to land when I heard the thunders, thought that it was going to rain.
At the end of the day, we had a little game among ourselves to see who could land exactly spot-on the blue mat and it was quite fun. I will return to this site again after Aidilfitri, this fasting month maybe will just take a break from paragliding and focus more on the drone’s aerial photography.
And of course, as usual I did a videoclip of this trip.
