Last week I’ve started rekindling my bonding with the compact camera, I got myself none other than my long time favorite; the Fuji X10.
Before I made up my mind on the X10, I checked out the other Fuji X100 and X-Pro1 models because I saw magazine reviews on these two were full of praises for their feature rich abilities. But for some reason, despite all the extra features and capabilities offered, I’m still awed by the X10. It’s the way it makes me feel when I’m carrying it around, the smaller body size fits firmly nice in my palms and its beautiful magnesium alloy body. I’ve been in love with it since the first time I held it in my hands.
Initially I thought it was not really going to work for me, thinking that it’s still a compact camera with all the limitations such as the non-replaceable lens and shutter lags, etcetera. There are several things that I just can’t do with this type of camera, but well you can’t have everything isn’t it? For the time being, I’m contented with the X10 and just love everything it has to offer. The image quality is excellent too, a bit noisy on high ISO but I can live with that and it’s not something that would bother me much.
Fuji X10, the camera that I’ll be carrying with me anywhere.
