It has been a month and this new job of mine is drowning me in that pie of tasks to get done.
Setting up a new company with Government as the sole owner is not going to be an easy task, that’s for sure. The tasks actually aren’t difficult at all, as in their technicalities perhaps because of my previous experience but they’re rather tedious due to the amount of things that needs to be implemented and monitored. It seems that my main job is to think, think hard and delegate well so everyone will be able to get things done in due time.
Being the boss has its perks, yes but the job is not going to be a walk in the park either. It’s nice and cozy but extremely dangerous if I started to become too comfortable with the chair. I introduced a new culture that in the morning, the staffs are encouraged to voice out their opinions about anything with regards to the company’s performance and toss ideas as they wish.
Let’s see if I could introduce something more extreme in the future, like everyone have to go scuba diving or mountain biking every once in a while as the company’s retreat plan, away from the work stress :-)
Well, this is it… till next update which I have no idea when it’ll be… lately I’m getting pretty good at procrastinating the updates of my blog.
