diving in the Komodo islands

The journey started with a few confusion on the departure time and AirAsia’s delayed flight schedule. To cut it short, let’s just say that AirAsia’s tagline should read “Now Everyone Can Fly Delayed”. But luckily, one of our dive buddy works for AirAsia and did his best to ensure that all of us were comfortable and treated us well with his jokes and assurances. Not so bad afterall, it was fun even when we were delayed for a few hours.

We arrived in Bali at night, safely and upon arrival we checked in at a hotel called Nagasari located somewhere in the crowded streets of Kuta and then walked for a quick dinner at the nearest kebab stall. Adrin stayed at the airport helping Ummi to clear her delayed luggage – another AirAsia’s undocumented treat for their passengers.
